Palworldで拠点運営を安定させる基本方針
Base management is the core of your progression in Palworld. A well-planned base keeps your Pals working efficiently, resources flowing, and production running smoothly. This guide covers the essential strategies for building and managing a stable base.
Choosing the Right Location
The first base location matters a great deal. The starting plateau near the beginner area is a solid choice: plenty of resources, mild temperature, and easy terrain. As you progress, you can build multiple bases. Consider dedicating each base to a specific role, such as mining, farming, or manufacturing. Always build near a fast travel point to minimize travel time between bases.
Assigning Pals by Their Work Suitability
Each Pal has work suitability skills like kindling, watering, planting, gathering, and transporting. Do not fill your base with Pals that share the same skill. Instead, aim for a balanced workforce that covers all the tasks your base needs. For example, Lamball is great in the early game because it can both gather and transport. Check individual Pal stats too, as work speed varies between members of the same species.
Facility Placement and Workflow
Pal pathing is important. Place storage boxes and chests close to workstations so Pals do not have to travel far for materials. Beds should be in a quiet area away from workstations to avoid disrupting rest. Incubators and farm plots work best in the center of the base where Pals can reach them easily. When building stairs or ramps, make sure they are wide enough and placed where Pals actually need to walk.
Securing a Steady Food Supply
If Pals get hungry, their work speed drops, and they can eventually become sick. Start with several berry plantations to ensure a stable food supply. Later, upgrade to a kitchen and cook high-quality meals to give your Pals work speed bonuses. Food also spoils, so build a cooler or refrigerator early to reduce waste. Keep an eye on the food box and restock it regularly.
Defense Against Raids
Raids will target your base. Build walls, traps, and chokepoints to minimize damage. A narrow entrance where your defensive Pals can group up and intercept raiders works well. Keep a few high-level combat Pals on standby at your main base. If you prefer building over fighting, you can adjust raid settings in the game options.
Plan Your Upgrades
Each base level unlocks new facilities. Plan ahead so that you prioritize the most useful upgrades first. The Electric Medicine Workbench at level 10 or the Refinery at level 20 are major milestones. Save your resources for these key unlocks rather than spending them on optional structures.
A well-run base makes Palworld infinitely more enjoyable. Experiment with layouts, learn what works for your playstyle, and keep refining your setup.
