Valorantで勝率を上げるためのマップ理解入門
Map awareness in Valorant is just as important as aim. Understanding the layout, controlling key zones, and reading enemy movements can win rounds before a single bullet is fired. This guide explains the fundamentals of map awareness and how to apply them in your matches.
Learn the Control Zones
Every map has critical areas that give your team a strategic advantage. On Ascent it is mid, on Bind it is short, and on Haven it is garage. Controlling these areas limits the enemy’s options and gives your team more information. If you lose control of a key zone, the enemy can attack from multiple directions, making defense much harder. Prioritize these zones in your team’s strategy.
Use the Minimap Constantly
The minimap is a powerful tool that many players underutilize. It shows your teammates’ positions, the last known location of enemies, and spike status. Glance at it every few seconds to stay aware of the overall situation. In the settings, increase the minimap size and disable rotation so that north is always up, making it easier to read. A quick minimap check before peeking can prevent you from walking into a crossfire.
Read Sound Cues
Footsteps, ability sounds, and gunshots all provide location information. Learn to distinguish walking from running, and identify which surface a player is on. Sound gets louder as an enemy gets closer, helping you estimate distance. A good pair of headphones with 7.1 surround sound can significantly improve your ability to pinpoint enemy positions through audio alone.
Rotate Your Positions
Holding the same angle every round makes you predictable. On defense, swap sites or change your hiding spot between rounds. On attack, vary your entry point and timing. Use fakes to draw the enemy’s attention away from your actual push. Communicate your rotations with your team so that you are not leaving a site completely exposed.
Set Up Crossfires
A crossfire happens when two teammates hold angles that intersect. The enemy cannot look at both of you at once, so one of you will get the kill. Crossfires are especially powerful on defense. Check your minimap to ensure your crossfire partner is in position, and coordinate your peeks. Even if you miss, your teammate likely will not.
Play the Post-Plant
After the spike is planted, the dynamic of the round changes. Attackers should hold angles that cover the spike and cut off defuse paths. Defenders need to clear those angles with utility like smokes and flashes before attempting the defuse. Plan your retake route in advance. A coordinated retake with utility is much more effective than running in one by one.
Map awareness improves with deliberate practice. 專注 on one map at a time, learn its callouts and control zones, and review your matches to see where your positioning could have been better.
